Lake Como Design Festival 2026

Lake Como Design Festival is an Italian design festival held each September across the towns of Como and Lecco, now in its eighth edition and staged in historic villas, palazzos and public spaces around the lake.

The 2026 edition explores the idea of the border as a space of connection and transformation, presenting exhibitions, installations, talks and events that pair contemporary design with the lake’s historic architecture and landscape. Rather than concentrating in a single trade-fair venue, the festival spreads across multiple towns and sites, pairing international designers and brands with the region’s palazzos, gardens and industrial heritage. It has grown into one of the notable design events held outside Milan during the wider Italian design season, valued for its setting as much as its programme.
