Why All Design Weeks?
All Design Weeks began with a simple frustration. Design weeks, festivals, and creative events happen in cities all over the world, yet the information about them is scattered across dozens of separate websites, social media posts, and press releases. There was no single place where a designer, a journalist, a brand, or a curious traveler could see what was happening, where, and when.
We built All Design Weeks to solve that. It is a free, global directory that brings design weeks and creative festivals together on one interactive map and in one searchable list, so anyone can quickly find events by city, country, or date.
Design culture is genuinely global, but the way it gets discovered is not. A studio planning a trip, a journalist covering the industry, or a design lover looking for their next destination should not have to search city by city to find out what is happening and when. All Design Weeks exists to make that discovery simple, keeping event dates, locations, and links accurate and up to date in one place.

How We Choose What Gets Listed
All Design Weeks is a curated directory, not an open submission board, so every event goes through a few basic checks before it’s added to the map. First, it has to be a real, established design week, design festival, or design-focused trade fair, something with its own official website, confirmed dates, and a track record or a credible first edition, rather than a placeholder page or a rumor of an event. Second, design has to be the point: we include furniture, product, graphic, interior, architecture, and craft events, but we leave out general trade shows or consumer expos where design is only a minor sidebar.
We also try to keep the map genuinely global rather than another list of the same five well-known cities. That means actively looking for strong regional and national design weeks across Africa, Asia, Latin America, and Eastern Europe, alongside the major fixtures in Western Europe and North America. Because event details change and new festivals launch every year, we periodically review every listing, update dates and links, and remove entries that turn out to be unconfirmed, discontinued, or too thin on public information to verify.
