Salerno Design Week 2026

Salerno Design Week is a five-day open workshop for design held in Salerno, Italy, launched in 2025 and now in its second edition, spreading exhibitions, talks and meetings across the city and its surrounding area.

The 2026 edition, themed Alchimie del Design (Alchemies of Design), stages installations, talks and workshops in venues across the historic center and beyond, exploring design culture and innovation alongside the city’s art and craft traditions. Organized with the involvement of Salerno’s local administration, the week positions design as a tool for reading and reactivating the city, connecting designers, students, institutions and residents through a shared public programme. Still a young event, Salerno Design Week is building on its first edition to grow into a fixture of southern Italy’s design calendar.
