Munich Creative Business Week 2026

Munich Creative Business Week is Germany’s largest design event, held annually in Munich since 2012 and organized by bayern design, running for roughly nine days each spring under the banner of connecting Bavaria’s creative and design industries with business and society.

Known as mcbw, the event brings together designers, architects, companies and students through exhibitions, talks, workshops and networking formats, each year built around a central theme addressing design’s role amid social and technological change. Recent editions have drawn around 65,000 visitors, roughly 200 events, 190 partners and 300 speakers, with content partners including BMW Group. As a member of World Design Weeks, mcbw serves as an international showcase for the Munich and Bavarian creative scene and a platform for interdisciplinary exchange around sustainability and digitalization.
