Indonesia Design Week 2026

Indonesia Design Week is Indonesia’s largest design festival, launched in 2024 by Indonesia Design District as a city-wide celebration of Jakarta’s design community. Its 2026 edition runs for ten days across eight districts throughout the city, an expansion from its original home at Indonesia Design District.

The festival centers on collaborative rather than individual authorship, cultural relevance and diversity of background and discipline, bringing together designers, brands, institutions and creative communities across furniture, interiors, product and graphic design. The 2026 edition introduces Extended Districts throughout Jakarta and hosts the SaloneSatellite Permanent Collection in Indonesia for the first time, linking the festival to Milan’s Salone del Mobile network. Visitors move between exhibitions, talks and installations spread across the participating districts, making Indonesia Design Week as much a tour of Jakarta’s creative neighborhoods as a single-venue event.
