Design Week Africa 2026

Design Week Africa is an annual trade fair and conference for commercial interior design, organized by the Interior Designers Association of Kenya and held at the Kenyatta International Conference Centre in Nairobi. It combines an exhibition floor with seminars and conferences aimed at design professionals from across the African continent and beyond.

The program covers interior design for workplaces, healthcare, education, hospitality, retail, residential and government spaces, with exhibitors showing furniture, lighting, textiles, smart-home technology and eco-friendly materials. Alongside the trade show, the event includes award ceremonies and expert-led seminars on industry trends, giving professional visitors both a sourcing floor and a forum for exchange. Positioned as a platform for Africa’s design and creative industries, Design Week Africa draws attendees from multiple African countries, reflecting its ambition as a continental, rather than purely Kenyan, design event.
