Design Week Mexico 2026

Design Week Mexico is Mexico’s national design platform, founded in 2008 by the nonprofit Mexico Territorio Creativo and held each October in Mexico City, a month the event has helped establish as the country’s design month.

The programme runs across multiple strands, including Design House for architecture and interiors, PRINT for graphic design, Design Dealers for curated furnishings, the Vision & Tradition residency programme, Inedito for experimental work and Design Tours through community showrooms. It connects Mexican architects, designers, artists and artisans with international counterparts, with its Design House segment alone drawing more than 20,000 visitors. Recent editions have used themes such as Designed in Mexico to frame design as a driver of the country’s economic, social and cultural life.
