Design Shanghai 2026

Design Shanghai is an annual design trade fair founded in 2014, with its 2026 edition marking the event’s thirteenth year and its return to the historic Shanghai Exhibition Centre after six years at the Shanghai World Expo Exhibition and Convention Centre. Held each March, it draws more than 500 brands from over 20 countries and regions, and attracted more than 76,000 visitors in its 2025 edition.

The fair is organized around four core sectors, Living & Lifestyle, Furniture & Lighting, Kitchen, Bathroom & Systems Design, and New Materials & Applications, alongside special programmes such as the TALENTS showcase for designers under 35, Made in JDZ for traditional Chinese craft, and Collectable Design & Art. Two conferences, the CMF Conference and the Kohler Design Shanghai Global Design Conference, run alongside the fair, while the Design in the City programme extends exhibitions and events to around 100 locations across Shanghai.
