San Francisco Design Week 2026

San Francisco Design Week is a week-long, city-wide design festival produced by Design Bay Area, marking its 20th anniversary with the 2026 edition running June 1 to 11 across the city. It brings together design studios, agencies and organizations throughout San Francisco and the wider Bay Area rather than concentrating activity in a single venue.

The program spans architecture, product, fashion, digital and other design disciplines, with studio tours, exhibitions and conversations that let visitors meet the designers behind the work directly. SFDW partners with more than a dozen professional organizations, including AIGA San Francisco, ASID and IDSA, reflecting its role as a shared platform for the region’s design community rather than a single organization’s showcase. The festival is built around the idea that the Bay Area sits at the intersection of design, technology and entrepreneurship, using the week to highlight how local companies fold design thinking into products and services with global reach.
