TAD Week – Tampere Architecture and Design Week 2026

TAD Week – Tampere Architecture and Design Week is Tampere’s annual architecture and design festival, held across the Finnish city since the late 2000s and reaching its 18th edition in 2025. The program takes place at venues throughout Tampere, including Väinö Linnan aukio, Kaleva Church and the Finlayson district’s former industrial halls.

TAD Week brings together seminars, exhibitions, workshops and open houses spanning student and graduate work, professional architecture and design projects, and international conferences drawing architects and urban planners from abroad. Each edition builds around a theme; the 2025 festival focused on nature, exploring nature-based solutions and design inspired by the natural world. The program mixes professional discourse with public-facing events such as opening celebrations, performances and live music, making it accessible to industry audiences and Tampere residents alike.
