CIFF Shanghai is the September edition of the China International Furniture Fair, held at the National Exhibition and Convention Center in Shanghai’s Hongqiao district. CIFF was founded in 1998 in Guangzhou, and since 2015 has run as two complementary annual editions, with Guangzhou hosting the spring fair in March and Shanghai the autumn fair in September.
The Shanghai edition spans more than 300,000 square meters and draws around 1,500 exhibiting brands covering the full furniture and home-furnishing supply chain, from designer and residential furniture to office, hospitality and outdoor pieces, alongside manufacturing equipment, textiles and décor. Buyers and industry visitors use the fair to source products across categories in one venue rather than visiting separate specialist shows. Combined with its Guangzhou counterpart, CIFF ranks among the largest furniture exhibitions in the world by exhibition space and attendance, reflecting its role as a hub for China’s home-furnishing industry.
