Homo Faber is a biennial exhibition celebrating contemporary craftsmanship, held on the island of San Giorgio Maggiore in Venice at the Fondazione Giorgio Cini since its launch in 2018 by the Michelangelo Foundation for Creativity and Craftsmanship.

Each edition brings together hundreds of artisans and makers from dozens of countries to present handcrafted objects across disciplines such as textiles, glass, ceramics, woodworking, metalwork and jewelry, alongside live demonstrations and immersive, art-directed installations. The 2024 edition, themed The Journey of Life and art directed by Luca Guadagnino, featured work from more than 70 countries and over 400 artisans across 800-plus objects. Homo Faber is widely regarded as one of the most significant international showcases dedicated to craftsmanship, positioning traditional skills alongside contemporary design and luxury industries.
