The Venice Glass Week 2026

The Venice Glass Week is an international festival dedicated to glass art and craftsmanship, founded in 2017 and held every September across Venice, Murano and Mestre, with the 2026 edition marking its tenth anniversary.

Programming spans more than 100 venues across the lagoon, including exhibitions, glassmaking demonstrations, workshops and family activities that celebrate Murano’s centuries-old glassmaking tradition alongside contemporary glass art. Most events are free to attend and organized in partnership with the City of Venice, civic museums, cultural foundations and the Murano glass promotion consortium, with contributions reviewed by international glass experts. The festival has grown into one of the leading annual platforms for glass art worldwide, connecting historic ateliers, contemporary artists and design institutions around Venice’s millennium-old glassmaking heritage.
