RPDC Design Week 2026

RPDC Design Week is a Shanghai design event run by the Red Product Design Center on the Xiaohongshu platform since 2021, with the 2026 edition marking its fourth staging under the theme Design Growing.

Rather than a conventional trade show, RPDC Design Week grows out of a year-round online design community, translating an active digital ecosystem of designers and design content into a physical event in Shanghai each autumn. The initiative aims to popularize design for a broad public and support multidisciplinary designers, drawing on a platform followership in the hundreds of thousands. Programming brings design conversation and consumption into everyday contexts rather than confining it to trade professionals, reflecting organizers’ stated goal of making design part of daily life. The event reflects the growing role of Chinese social platforms in shaping design discourse and connecting designers directly with consumers.
