Czech Design Week 2026

Czech Design Week is a Prague design festival that has run since around 2014, reaching its twelfth edition in 2025, and turns the city into a temporary showcase for Czech and international design across historic venues.
The festival’s main stage at the functionalist Mánes Gallery hosts around 100 exhibitors, while the baroque Clam-Gallas Palace hosts a New Generation exhibition featuring design graduates from Czech and Slovak academies. Programming spans glass, porcelain, fashion, graphic design, technology and traditional crafts, mixing student and independent designers with established studios and international brands. Recent editions have centered on the dialogue between tradition and technology, including a Czech Design Award that recognizes work reinterpreting the country’s cultural and craft heritage in fields from medical devices to furniture. By pairing contemporary design with Prague’s historic architecture, Czech Design Week presents itself as an accessible, city-wide event for both industry visitors and the general public.
