France Design Week 2026

France Design Week is a nationwide French design initiative launched in 2020, coordinated by the design promotion agency APCI together with regional design bodies to stage simultaneous events across France’s regions each year.

Rather than a single centralized festival, France Design Week operates as a decentralized network: design schools, agencies, associations, companies and public institutions each organize their own local programme of exhibitions, talks, workshops and open days within a shared national timeframe. The initiative grew out of France’s 2019 Design Assises policy discussions, which called for a unifying event to raise public awareness of design and support its practitioners nationally. It spans disciplines from product and graphic design to service and social design, connecting professionals and the public across the country rather than concentrating attention on Paris alone.
