Venice Design Week 2026

Venice Design Week is an annual design festival that has taken over Venice each October since 2010, organized by the cultural association Arte e Design Venezia. Rather than filling a single venue, it spreads through the city’s calli and campielli, with private galleries, museums, artisan workshops, stores and even historic homes serving as exhibition spaces across Venice’s neighborhoods.

Each edition builds around a new thematic investigation in design, bringing together established and emerging designers, international companies, artisans and architects alongside the public. The programme spans exhibitions, conferences, workshops, guided tours and a design competition, using Venice’s historic architecture and canals as a backdrop rather than a conventional trade-fair setting. Beyond exhibitions, the week works as a networking platform, with round tables and talks connecting the city’s artisan traditions to contemporary design practice.
