Designblok 2026

Designblok is the Prague International Design Festival, the largest design and fashion showcase in Central Europe, held annually since 1999 and reaching its 28th edition in 2026 across venues including the Prague Castle Riding School and the National Gallery’s Trade Fair Palace.

The festival presents curated exhibitions, exhibitor installations and a talks programme called Designblok Talks, organized into sections such as Superstudio for established companies and international producers and Openstudio for emerging designers, studios and schools. Coverage spans product, furniture, fashion, jewelry design and illustration. Each edition builds around a theme, such as light as a symbol of knowledge, hope and truth for 2026, and the festival has become a fixture connecting Czech design with international audiences and addressing design’s role in contemporary society.
