Stockholm Design Week 2026

Stockholm Design Week is an annual design week held each February in tandem with the Stockholm Furniture Fair, established in 2002. Rather than a single venue, it plays out across the city’s galleries, showrooms, museums and cultural institutions, with associated dinners, cocktail events and after-fair meetings extending the programme beyond the fair halls themselves.

The week centers on Scandinavian design, bringing together buyers, architects, designers and journalists from Sweden and abroad for a mix of exhibitions, launches and talks staged in showrooms across the city. It draws substantial public interest, with over 100,000 annual website page views and tens of thousands of followers across social media. For the design trade, it functions as both a showcase of new Nordic work and a networking hub running alongside one of the region’s major furniture fairs.
