Lisbon Design Week is an annual design festival held each May in Lisbon, with 2026 marking its fourth edition. Run in partnership with institutions including MUDE, the Museum of Design, it spreads across more than 80 venues in eleven neighborhoods, ateliers, shops, galleries, private apartments, chapels and hotels, turning much of the city into exhibition space over five days.

The festival centers on collectible and artistic contemporary design with an emphasis on handmade production, and its 2026 main exhibition, Design Feito à Mão, examines how craft techniques inform contemporary practice. Alongside this, the programme features experimental work using 3D printing and regenerative materials, growing crossovers between textiles, fashion and interior design, and installations staged in unconventional settings such as chapels and domestic spaces. Visitors can also take in designer spotlights, collective presentations, live podcasts and workshops celebrating Portuguese design.
