DW! São Paulo Design Week is Latin America’s largest urban design festival, founded in 2011 by entrepreneur Lauro Andrade and marking its 15th edition in 2026. It transforms São Paulo into a city-wide circuit spanning nine districts, eight physical locations plus one digital district, each with its own creative character.

The mostly free program brings together roughly 150 brands, studios and institutions across more than 400 activities, including exhibitions, product launches, debates and installations, letting visitors chart their own path between commercial, independent and cultural neighborhoods rather than follow a fixed route. The 2026 theme, Legado Criativo (Creative Legacy), looks at how Brazilian design reflects a broader cultural and social transition, and the edition adds a dedicated Fashion Hub formally bringing fashion and circular design into the festival. With attendance in the hundreds of thousands, DW! has helped professionalize Brazil’s design sector while giving it wider international visibility.
