Dutch Design Week 2027
Dutch Design Week is a nine-day, city-wide design festival held in Eindhoven every October since its founding in 2002, making it one of Europe’s largest design events. It takes over roughly 120 venues across the city, including the former Philips factory complex at Strijp-S, the Design Academy Eindhoven and Eindhoven University of Technology’s industrial design faculty, alongside studios, galleries and public spaces.
The festival showcases work by more than 2,600 designers and studios, ranging from graduating students to established names and major companies such as Philips and DAF, spanning exhibitions, installations, workshops, talks and product launches. Each edition since 2012 has been built around an overarching theme addressing questions in design’s future. Largely non-commercial in spirit, Dutch Design Week has become a key showcase for Dutch and international design innovation, drawing several hundred thousand visitors annually.
