Design Shanghai is a leading design fair in Asia, held annually in Shanghai since its 2014 debut at the city’s landmark Shanghai Exhibition Centre. The inaugural edition featured nearly 150 design brands, most exhibiting in China for the first time, and drew around 50,000 visitors; the fair has since grown into one of the region’s major platforms for contemporary design.

The fair brings together international and Chinese furniture, lighting, textile and product design brands alongside curated exhibitions, talks and installations, with sections spanning classic and contemporary design, emerging designers and design galleries.
