Rome Future Week 2026

Rome Future Week is a free, city-wide festival exploring technology, design, innovation and culture across Rome, now in its fourth edition after a prior year drawing more than 75,000 participants to over 150 venues.
The 2026 edition, themed Materia Prima (Raw Material), explores the foundational elements behind visible innovation, with the Ostiense district serving as a symbolic hub linking the city’s industrial heritage to its future development. Programming spans talks, workshops, exhibitions and immersive experiences staged in historic palaces, parks, university halls, labs, offices and coworking spaces, organized with companies, startups, universities and cultural institutions. This year’s edition also places a dedicated focus on employment, connecting companies with talent, and includes Corti Futuri, a short-film contest for creators under 30 produced with Rai Cinema and RUFA. With hundreds of events, Rome Future Week positions the city as a testing ground for ideas about where technology and creativity are heading.
