Tijuana Design Week 2026

Tijuana Design Week is a five-day design festival in Tijuana, Mexico, bringing together local and international designers across roughly 40 venues, including galleries, museums, studios, restaurants and cultural centers spread throughout the city rather than a single fairground.
Programming includes more than 100 free events such as exhibitions, showroom tours, interactive workshops and presentations by international designers, with recent editions framed around themes such as the Expanded Present, connecting past, present and future through design. The festival positions design as a tool for care, empathy, regeneration and community engagement, tying local practice to the region’s cross-border creative identity and its most pressing social and environmental challenges. It has also partnered with initiatives such as World Design Capital San Diego Tijuana, reflecting its growing role in the wider San Diego-Tijuana binational design region.
