LA Design Festival 2026

LA Design Festival is a citywide design festival in Los Angeles founded in 2011, held each June across hubs such as ROW DTLA, the Helms Bakery District and Long Beach, and drawing large crowds to a multi-day mix of free public programming and ticketed events.

The festival covers architecture, product and graphic design through studio tours, panel discussions, exhibitions, installations and pop-ups, alongside private events such as an awards ceremony and design dinners. Each edition builds around a curatorial theme; recent programming has explored ideas like Design Futurism, organized into tracks on sustainability, craftsmanship, tradition and design as a tool for social justice. It marked its tenth anniversary in 2023 under the theme Design for the People, and continues to position itself as a platform for creatives across backgrounds and design disciplines.
