Seoul Design Festival 2026

Seoul Design Festival is an annual design event held at Seoul’s COEX convention center, established in 2002 and organized by Design House through Monthly Design, Korea’s first design publication, founded in 1976. Held over several days each November, it brings together close to a thousand designers, brands and creative professionals presenting their work through exhibitions and dedicated showcase booths.

Each edition is organized around a curatorial theme addressing shifts in the design industry, recent editions have explored ideas such as “Wayfinding,” framing design’s role amid manufacturing change, the rise of AI and climate pressures. The festival functions as much as a discourse platform as a commercial showcase, featuring young-designer promotions, experimental furniture, sustainable materials, regional-identity brands and cross-industry collaborations. It serves as a key meeting point connecting Korea’s design industry with international creative communities and audiences.
